have you ever looked at the person you love, and then get enraptured by the idea that this person is the best thing that ever came into your life? recently i’ve been smitten by amos, which is very strange, because after five years (plus minus the break-up and the quarrels) i expected myself to be bored of him. i am pleasantly surprised and pleased to find that i seem to be falling deeper in love with him. perhaps the long break has something to do with that… (what an omen, so in another four years’ time i’d have another great quarrel with him and break up again? what a waste of my life. and his time.)

even after seeing him every so often and talking on the phone every night, it’s hard to say goodbye, and goodnight. i know he doesn’t feel the same way about this, he’s always the one who initiates the ‘i think its time for bed’. shrug. perhaps this time he’ll be the one getting sick of me.
