What’s Your Mental Age?

Result: 6 Months Old
You love to get pampered, take lots of naps, and eat mashed bananas. Okay, we’re only speculating on the mashed bananas.
And really, there’s nothing wrong with that stuff. You love to be comfortable and close to the people you love. That stuff’s all great! Just be sure to change your diaper every once in a while.

i want to see you
over the past couple of weeks i’ve been speaking to amos almost every evening, it’s scarily become the highlight of my day, everyday. mostly, im the one who calls him, and regrettably, it sounds like im throwing myself at him. that, i despise, and would really prefer the term ‘patching things up’.
we’ve been advised not to meet because we were in a ‘very destructive relationship’ (that, is an understatement), and we’ve been trying hard to adhere to that advice. every time i ask to meet him, he turns me down; every time he offers to meet me, i reject the offer. mostly, we’re frightened at what might happen when we see each other again, properly, for the first time since october.
perhaps i should stop using ‘we’.
confusion
In these times I don’t, in a manner of speaking, know what I want; perhaps I don’t want what I know and want what I don’t know.
-Marsilio Ficino, letter to Giovanni Cavalcanti, c. 1475
a quote as much relevant to myself as to, i believe, yenn.
